Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like things are starting to slip out of control?

Maybe alcohol, or substances that once helped you relax, or cope with stress are now creating new challenges in your life, or relationships.  If you’ve tried to cut back and found it harder than expected, or you’re noticing consequences from drinking, or substance use, it may be time to seek some support.

Many people reach a point where what once felt manageable no longer does. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed; it means something deeper may need attention and support.

Over time, prolonged use can lead to changes in cravings, tolerance, withdraw, loss of control, and feeling disconnected from the things that used to bring joy. These patterns of use are often influenced by a combination of family history, life experiences, and mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or traumatic experiences.

Effective, compassionate treatment can help you break that cycle.

In therapy, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll explore the underlying causes of substance, or alcohol use and build practical, personalized strategies for change. Whether your goal is harm reduction, or to discontinue use altogether, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). These methods are proven to support addiction recovery, mental health healing, and long-term change.
